Wrought Iron Coat Rack

Coat racks are a wonderful addition to any home entrance way, they add something that no other piece of furniture can… a welcome, a welcome into your house and home that says “come in, may I take your coat?” When it comes to coat racks you have so many different options with so many different styles that it can make your head spin. If you don’t know exactly what you want from the beginning, it can be hard to pin down the best one for you.

But with all the different styles, and all the different options available today… in my mind there is one style that blows all the others away. It is simply in a different league than all the rest! I’m talking, of course, about wrought-iron coat racks. They add sophistication and elegance to your home in a way that nothing else can and that’s why I built this web page for you today.

But aren’t they expensive? They don’t have to be! Most people think right off the bat that they can’t afford a wrought-iron coat rack because of the massive expense, after all… isn’t wrought-iron always more expensive? Not necessarily! And I can spend a good deal of time talking about the different price ranges, but before I get into specifics let me just put your mind at ease and tell you that you can find incredibly nice wrought-iron coat rack for much much less money than you think. Not only that, but manufacturers can do incredible things with materials these days to make something look like wrought-iron when it’s not; while costing just pennies literally. I’ll talk about all these options as we go on.

Lower End Models: first I’ll talk about the cheaper models that you can find because everybody wants to hear about them it seems. The thing about these models is that they, generally speaking, aren’t actually wrought-iron they’re just sort of metallic and they been treated to look wrought-irony like I mentioned above. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them, they just aren’t the real deal. But for the price, you really just can’t go wrong! You can find them for anywhere between $30 and $40 and they will hold up just fine for a long time to come. For the most part, these won’t be very elaborate looking coat racks, but like I said, not bad at all.

Higher End Models: if you’re willing to spend the money for the real deal prices shoot up rather quickly. Retail models generally tend to start around $100 and in that range and can quickly shoot up to $300 or more depending on how elaborate you want your coat rack to look. The more sort of fluted rounded edges, and more hooks protruding from them in different ways that your coat rack has, the more expensive it will be. These things are almost always going to raise the price a little bit.

Another Option another option for wrought-iron coat racks, and one that I recommend and use myself is to find a used one. Used wrought-iron coat racks are wonderful they have a history behind them and that antiqueness can be very special. Plus you can find incredibly cheap deals on wonderful wrought-iron coat racks at estate sales, antique stores, and even yard sales. The downside of course is that you have to put in a little more legwork. But the upside is incredibly well worth it! Take it from me this is the best way to find a great wrought-iron coat rack that will be distinctive from everyone else.
